Senior Product Engineer at Intercom

Intercom is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will solve customer problems by applying technical knowledge and tools. This role involves being part of a multidisciplinary product team, building both back-end and front-end systems, and working closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts.Intercom is a company that helps its customers provide incredible customer experiences online.What this role involves:

• Developing technical plans and contributing to our technical architecture.
• Writing Ruby code to knit together AWS, infrastructure, platform and SaaS technologies.
• Shipping changes to production quickly, with multiple deployments each day.
• Growing the team's capacity by mentoring other engineers and interviewing candidates.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably with a SaaS product.
• Demonstrated impact of work on product and/or team.
• Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).
• Experience collaborating with product teams and designers.
• Experience with Distributed systems
