Intercom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will solve customer problems through technical expertise and work within a multidisciplinary product team. They will contribute to scaling Intercom's products and mentor other engineers. The position involves working on both back-end and front-end systems, collaborating with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical plans and contribute to the technical architecture.
  • Write Ruby code to integrate AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
  • Ship changes to production and features quickly.
  • Mentor other engineers and interview candidates.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
  • Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).
  • Experience collaborating with product teams and designers.
  • Experience with distributed systems.
