Intercom is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its Research, Analytics & Data Science (RAD) team in Dublin. This individual will leverage data and insights to drive evidence-based decision-making, partnering with product teams to identify key questions and deliver actionable insights. The Senior Data Scientist will play a crucial role in shaping product strategy and ensuring Intercom delivers value to its customers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Partnering with product teams to identify important questions and answer them with data.
- Working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop key product success metrics, set targets, measure results, and size opportunities.
- Designing, building, and updating end-to-end data pipelines.
- Partnering closely with product researchers to build a holistic understanding of customers, products, and business.
- Influencing the product roadmap and product strategy through experimentation, exploratory analysis, and quantitative research.
- Building and automating actionable models and dashboards.
- Crafting data stories and sharing findings and recommendations across R&D and the broader company.
- Driving and shaping core RAD foundations and helping improve how the RAD org operates.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working with data to solve problems and drive evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent SQL skills and good knowledge of statistics.
- Proven track record of initiating and delivering actionable analysis and insights that drives tangible impact with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical) and a focus on driving impact.
