Intercom is seeking a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to join its team in Dublin, Ireland. The company is dedicated to improving customer experiences through its platform, which enables businesses to provide excellent customer service. The Data Infrastructure team is responsible for building and maintaining the data platform that supports Intercom's operations and empowers its users with valuable information.
Responsibilities: - Evolve the Data Platform by designing and building the next generation of the stack.
- Develop, run and support our batch and real-time data pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, analysts and data scientists.
- Develop automation and tooling to support the creation and discovery of high quality analytics data.
- Implement systems to monitor our infrastructure, detect and surface data quality issues.
Requirements: - 5+ years of professional experience in the data space using Python and SQL.
- Experience building and running data pipelines for large and complex datasets.
- Hands-on cloud provider experience (preferably AWS).
- Understanding of data security practices and are passionate about privacy.
- Demonstrate the significant impact that your work has had, both on the technology side as well as with the teams you’ve been part of.
