Job Description
Auctane is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Data Products team. The ideal candidate will significantly impact the design, implementation, and maintenance of customer-facing data products. This role involves working with the latest architecture patterns and technologies to process thousands of events per second, contributing to Auctane's data-driven strategy.
The Role Involves:
- Contributing to the design, build, and operational management of data pipelines and analytics solutions on AWS.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to implement the Data Products strategy.
- Developing frameworks and solutions to acquire, process, and monitor massive datasets.
- Driving the design and architecture of Auctane’s data product.
- Ensuring data quality and observability using technologies like Airflow, dbt, and Spark.
- Fostering engineering excellence through software engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- Strong Data Engineering background.
- Experience working in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience developing and supporting robust data pipelines in Python and SQL.
- Excellent Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with data processing frameworks like Spark, Trino (Athena), or Pandas.
- Knowledge of Data Orchestration solutions, preferably Airflow.
- Knowledge of relational database design.
- Proficiency in Polish and English.
