ABBYY is seeking a Regional Controller to oversee local accounting, tax and compliance for a standalone legal entity. The role involves driving financial audits and tax filings, collaborating with corporate accounting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Preparing and filing tax returns
- Preparing financial statements
- Coordinating audits and transfer pricing
- Managing payments and banking relationships
- Maintaining vendor relationships
- Ensuring accurate local bookkeeping
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred
- 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Fluency in English
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, adaptability, strong communication skills
- Strong understanding of IFRS
