ABBYY is seeking a Manager of Recovery and Continuity. This role is crucial for developing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans. The Manager will ensure the organization can minimize disruptions and maintain critical business functions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business continuity management (BCM) framework.
- Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses.
- Plan and conduct regular testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, legal, compliance, and other departments.
- Develop and deliver training programs.
- Collaborate with the incident response team.
- Prepare reports for senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in business continuity and disaster recovery planning tools and software.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, CBRM) - preferred.
- Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance standards - preferred.
