Interactive Brokers is seeking a Model Governance and Analytics Manager to join their team in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.The Model Governance and Analytics Manager will be responsible for maintaining model-tuning documentation, conducting annual testing of Money Movement models, and performing data quality assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AML regulations, machine learning, and data analysis.Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain model-tuning documentation.
- Conduct annual testing and tuning of Money Movement models.
- Conduct beta testing of all models and changes.
- Follow regulatory trends and recommend design changes.
- Perform AML Coverage Analysis to identify gaps.
- Lead and organize global meetings with stakeholders.
- Perform data quality assessment of key model variables.
- Assist in implementation of monitoring related model projects.
- Assist in creating model change documentation.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in mathematics, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
- Five years of modeling experience focusing on AML transaction monitoring and KYC.
- Five years of experience working with AML regulations, Know Your Client (KYC), AML transaction monitoring, AML risk assessments and AML systems tuning and optimization.
- Five years of experience with machine learning analyses, including linear/logistic regression, clustering, and decision trees.
- Two years of experience working with Pandas and Numpy.
- Two years of programming experience with Python and NoSQL.
- Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills.
