Director of Engineering

Job Description

Boulevard is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead its Engineering teams in developing customer and consumer-facing web and mobile applications for the self-care industry. The Director will be a key decision-maker in defining the company's technical vision, strategy, and objectives. They will partner with Design, Product, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver solutions.

The Director will foster a culture of continuous improvement in the delivery process, engineering practices, and innovation. They will connect people and build bridges across different teams and functions, driving clarity and execution for ambiguous problems.

What this role involves:

• Partnering with stakeholders to improve Boulevard web and mobile app experiences.
• Leading teams in delivering high-quality, scalable user experiences.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing managers.
• Experience building SaaS and eCommerce Platforms.
• Ability to lead products and organizations through growth stages.
• Experience leading remote teams across multiple time zones.
• Ability to empower managers and teams.
• Ability to set strategy and execute on evolving systems and products.
• Experience driving a roadmap for a multi-product program.
• Self-driven to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Experience building scalable organizations.
• Ability to act as a liaison and communicate effectively.
• Self-driven in cross-functional leadership and collaboration.
• Ability to make informed decisions.
