Job Description
Boulevard is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Lead to spearhead the technical architecture and implementation of its payment products. This role involves leading a 3-5 person squad while also contributing hands-on as a Staff SWE. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to build exceptional payment products that enhance the customer experience.
Role involves:
- Leading and managing a 3-5 person squad.
- Owning and leading the technical architecture and implementation of Boulevard’s payment products.
- Establishing and monitoring system health metrics.
- Maintaining an observable, secure, and efficient codebase.
- Participating in Incident Commander on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of fullstack experience building large-scale systems.
- Experience with payment systems and PCI compliance.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead large initiatives and roadmaps.
Boulevard offers:
- A total budgeted cash compensation between $189,000 and $270,000 USD.
