NOC Engineering Team Lead at Via

Via is seeking a NOC Engineering Team Lead to manage a team of Engineers who monitor global systems and address urgent customer issues. The Team Lead will optimize processes, tools, and collaboration, and train and mentor NOC engineers. Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world.

The role involves:

• Managing critical incidents from the NOC perspective.
• Acting as an escalation point within the NOC team.
• Managing and developing a team of NOC Engineers.
• Maintaining and updating the NOC internal Knowledge Base.
• Improving NOC’s monitoring and proactivity capabilities.
• Leading efforts to automate manual tasks.
• Leading process improvements within NOC based on incident postmortems and data review.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams in a high-paced environment.
• Mastery over programming and scripting (Python & Bash).
• Hands-on experience with different operating systems, specifically Linux.
• Experience working in Cloud & SaaS environments utilizing AWS, Jenkins, Coralogix, SQL.
