DataCamp is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Learn Team. This individual will be instrumental in developing web applications that enhance the learning experience for DataCamp's users.
The role involves contributing to user-centric solutions, tackling technical challenges, and driving the technical direction of products. The engineer will collaborate with a team of engineers to improve the DataCamp learning platform.
Responsibilities:
- Build the platform to learn Data Science and AI.
- Contribute to the technical direction of the Learn product
- Work with the latest technologies to solve challenging problems.
- Improve existing learning features and build new ones.
- Take ownership of components in the microservices architecture.
- Interact closely with team members to build things that scale.
- Inspire and grow the engineers around you through support, coaching, and mentoring.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of web development experience with TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, performant, testable code.
- Experience showing ownership of a product or feature.
- Passion for product development and empathy for customers.
- Ability to solve technical problems.
- Organized with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Pragmatic approach to solving problems and a results-oriented mindset.
- Interest in data science, artificial intelligence, and education.
