Bilingual Data Engineer (GCP) at NEORIS

NEORIS, a digital accelerator with 20 years of experience, is seeking a Bilingual Data Engineer (GCP) to join their team in Colombia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in SQL, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). He/She will work with data science teams, and will be responsible for creating data ingestion processes to models, to generate predictions.

Responsibilities:

• ETL processes using SQL and Python
• GCP Tagging Data Sets
• Data Transformations for Model Types
• Data preparation for Data Science teams
• Creating data ingestion processes to models

Requirements:

• 3+ years of SQL experience (ETL, Complex Database Scripting)
• 3+ years of Python experience (ETLs, Pipelines) for Machine Learning
• 2+ years of GCP experience (Tagging Data Sets)
• Experience in data preparation for Data Science teams
• Experience creating data ingestion processes to models
• API Management, Azure Pipelines, Log Analytics, Azure Functions, Databricks, Storage – SQL Azure / CosmosDB / Table Storage / Blob Storage)
• GIT: GitHub, BitBucket
• CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, Airflow
• Spark, Hadoop, among others
• NoSQL (Mongo, Cosmos)
