NEORIS, a digital accelerator with 20 years of experience, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team in Quito, Ecuador. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and supporting cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in implementing and supporting cloud solutions and be familiar with various cloud platforms and services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Configuring, deploying, and supporting cloud infrastructure.
  • Using automation tools and scripts for infrastructure management.
  • Integrating CI/CD pipelines with the DevOps team.
  • Implementing security policies and solutions for cloud data and resources.
  • Maintaining clear documentation on architecture and processes.
  • Collaborating on reference architectures for storage, networks, databases, and computing services.
  • Staying updated with cloud technology trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Professional in IT with 4+ years of experience in cloud solutions implementation and support.
  • Availability for hybrid work in Quito, Ecuador.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripts (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure ARM).
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance.
  • Knowledge in virtual networks, VPNs, and inter-cloud connectivity.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and management tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).
  • Ability to explain complex concepts and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Desirable certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.).
