NEORIS, a digital accelerator with 20 years of experience, is seeking an Incident Engineer to join their team. This role is based in Quito, Ecuador and involves managing the lifecycle of technological events and incidents, as well as identifying opportunities for service improvement.

The Incident Engineer will work in a multicultural startup environment, fostering innovation and continuous learning to create high-value solutions for NEORIS' clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and controlling the lifecycle of technological events and incidents.
  • Managing major incidents in a timely manner.
  • Managing post mortems of incidents.
  • Identifying blind spots in monitoring.
  • Updating and generating documentation for technological service processes.
  • Implementing and updating technical guides.
  • Coordinating and monitoring improvements in technological service processes and procedures.
  • Proposing and executing action plans for incident resolution.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and sending recurring and on-demand reports.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in technological service administration in large institutions.
  • Experience in Resolution/Incident Management.
  • Experience in troubleshooting technological service incidents.
  • Problem Management.
  • Change management.
  • ITILv3-v4 knowledge.
  • Platforms Wintel, Unix, BDD.
  • Telecommunications Architectures.
  • Experience and knowledge in ITSM and observability tools (Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Grafana, Zabbix, among others).
