Senior Backend Engineer - Core Platform at Pindrop

Pindrop is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Core ISP platform team. This role involves developing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and systems that analyze customer calls for risk and fraud.

The Senior Backend Engineer will contribute to complex software projects, provide technical expertise, and work with a team of talented engineers to expand capabilities and bring new solutions to market. They will be responsible for the operational excellence of services through continual improvement projects and participation in the on-call rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software applications using Golang and Python.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Automate the build, deployment, and configuration of cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage cloud services, with proficiency in AWS or GCP.
• Implement security best practices in all stages of development and deployment.

Requirements:

• 8-10+ years of experience in Development, DevOps or a related field
• Strong experience with Golang and Python.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github CI, etc.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms (ideally both).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform (preferred), or other tools
• Experience operating production systems at scale
