Pindrop is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position through Alcor BPO. The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovating at the intersection of technology and personal security, with a focus on developing cutting-edge authentication, fraud prevention, and deepfake detection.
The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring high-performance services and APIs. They will work in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with software engineers, test engineers, research scientists, and product managers.
What this role involves:
- Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring high-performance services and APIs.
- Developing applications in Golang and Python on top of a modern cloud focused platform.
- Developing and maintaining services using AWS and GCP native products
- Reviewing code to maintain quality, performance, scale, and security.
- Identifying and evaluating new technologies for implementation.
- Contributing to improving software engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of software development experience.
- Experience with designing and implementing highly scalable cloud based APIs.
- Experience with multiple programming languages such as Python and Go.
- Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms and Concurrency.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of different Data Storage technologies such as Redis, MySQL, etc.
- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
- Experience developing and maintaining services using AWS native products.
- Linux Proficiency.
