Pindrop is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Speech Research team, contributing to the development of deepfake detection products. The Data Engineer will work within a world-class team of researchers, playing a key role in advancing voice security solutions.
Role involves:
- Designing and maintaining datasets for ML model training, including data collection, augmentation, and storage.
- Developing and maintaining tools for data collection, augmentation, and visualization.
- Contributing to research packages to train and test ML models.
- Conducting experimental studies on various audio processing tasks to assess accuracy and quality of pre-existing models.
- Contributing to the research team’s activities including regular research reviews and code reviews.
Requirements:
- Masters degree or PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) or equivalent experience required.
- 1+ years of professional experience as a data engineer in Deep Learning, preferably in automatic speech recognition, natural language processing, speaker recognition or model compression, or in general machine learning.
- Experience in the preparation of data for ML model training and evaluation.
- Strong Python skills are required.
- Experience with 1 of the ML frameworks: TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
- Experience on working with audio/visual data and data collection (Preferable).
- Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS or React JS (Preferable).
- Knowledge of biometrics, authentication, fraud, or customer experience concepts (Preferable).
- Experience communicating with internal and external customers around proof-of-concepts, issues, etc (Preferable).
