QA Specialist at Critical Mass

Critical Mass is seeking an Intermediate QA Specialist to ensure quality and client satisfaction. The QA Specialist will work closely with QA lead, QA Subject Matter Experts, other QA members, Project managers, designers and developers to deliver high-quality results.He/She will be:
  • Co-responsible for project quality based on requirements and design specifications.
  • Attending meetings, providing status updates, taking notes, and giving feedback.
  • Communicating test results, issues, and risks to project team members and management.
  • Identifying test data.
  • Creating and maintaining test plans, test cases/scripts, and traceability matrix documents.
  • Performing functional and non-functional testing.
  • Creating defect tickets and tracking issues to resolution.
  • Supporting team onboarding and estimations.
Requirements:
  • English Proficiency (C1)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies for software development
  • Experience working with local and offshore teams
  • Experience in task management and defect tracking tools like Jira and/or similar
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows or MacOS software is expected.
