Tribal Worldwide, a part of the Critical Mass agency, is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join their team in London. In this role, the developer will be pivotal in shaping the user experience of web applications, taking ownership of both simple and complex website design and programming. The Senior Front-End Developer will work independently and collaborate with the Tech Lead, providing solutions and estimates for tasks. They will work from the Tribal Worldwide London office a minimum of 3 days a week.

Role involves:

  • Developing web applications following web standards
  • Collaborating with Creative, Business, Technology, and QA teams
  • Ensuring solutions meet requirements and performance targets
  • Maintaining documentation on projects
  • Debugging complex issues
  • Providing feedback on policies and guidance to team members

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience with Front-End technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Knowledge of recent development practices
  • Fluency in a JavaScript library and/or framework (ReactJS)
  • Experience with cross-browser/device compatibility
  • Experience with automation and pre-processing tools (Gulp, Grunt, SASS, LESS)
  • Experience integrating web solutions with external web services
  • Knowledge of design patterns
  • Experience pre-processing CSS styling (SASS, LESS)
  • Fluency with data transfer formats (JSON, XML, HTTP)
  • Code compliant with accessibility and SEO guidelines
  • Version control systems (SVN, GIT, Mercurial)
  • Troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Responsive design skills
