Senior Project Manager [Experience & Engineering] at DEPT®

DEPT®, a digital agency with a deep skillset in tech and marketing, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Experience & Engineering business unit in Zurich. The ideal candidate will manage exciting technological projects, ensuring first-class usability.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Independent planning, coordination, and implementation of complex digital (e-commerce) projects.
• Controlling key figures and initiating measures to ensure project scope is realized on time and within budget.
• Serving as a central interface for communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Advising and supporting customers with a confident and proactive approach.
• Utilizing knowledge in stakeholder management, risk management, controlling, and reporting.
• Leading an interdisciplinary project team and maintaining close contact with the team in different locations.

DEPT® is looking for someone who has:

• At least 5+ years of experience in managing complex digital or e-commerce projects.
• Professional working proficiency in German and English.
• Experience in an agency or consulting firm.
• Good command of project management methods and tools.
• Experience in classic and agile project management methods (waterfall to scrum and kanban) and tools (e.g. Asana or Jira).
• A convincing and confident manner with a feel for customer needs, and is used to consult and steer the client.
• Skills in creating cost overviews and offers.
• Ability to design project plans and roadmaps with milestones and dependencies.
• Experience in creating re-briefings and documenting deadlines with clients.
• Basic knowledge of requirements engineering and prioritization.
• Ability to work independently, autonomously, in a structured and organized manner.
• Team player mentality and experience in leading interdisciplinary teams.
