Interactive Brokers is seeking a mid-level Automation Database Developer with scripting skills to join their global Database Administration team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for automating database operations, deployments, and monitoring key performance indicators.Responsibilities include:
- Working on projects as assigned.
- Driving projects to completion.
- Documenting steps taken and methods utilized in any project
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with exposure to Oracle 19c and higher.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle Query tuning methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise with 5+ years of Shell scripting, Ansible skills and/or Perl with an eye toward automation.
- Ability to modify existing code or develop code using Ansible for new projects.
- Exposure to Oracle ASM, Grid Infrastructure, RAC, DataGuard and RMAN.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
