The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing test plans, identifying and documenting software defects, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. The role involves:

  • Developing and implementing test plans and test cases.
  • Identifying, documenting, and monitoring software defects.
  • Conducting regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Ensuring thorough investigation and resolution of issues.
  • Communicating testing progress and suggestions.
  • Participating in test planning and estimation.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of test results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years of experience as a QA Engineer, mostly engaged in manual testing.
  • Solid understanding of QA procedures and SDLC.
  • Ability to write precise test plans and cases.
  • Expertise with testing methodologies such as regression, smoke, and functional testing.
  • Knowledge of test management and problem-tracking systems like Jira.
  • Familiarity with Postman and other API testing tools.
  • Understanding of Scrum and Agile techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Keen eye for detail and planning abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in executing tasks in a collaborative setting.
  • Fundamental understanding of automated testing methods and tools.
