Software Engineer, Full-Stack at Grammarly

Grammarly is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative features and infrastructure. The role is based in Berlin and follows a hybrid working model.

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Grammarly, the candidate will play a critical role in driving user acquisition and conversion. They will build innovative features and infrastructure to showcase the value of Grammarly's product, inspiring millions of users to embrace Grammarly as their essential writing companion.

In this role, the candidate will:

• Start building and pushing code in your first week and ship impactful features in your first few months.
• Build and support production services with high call rates on the back-end and develop rich user interfaces on the front-end.
• Target high availability for consumer and enterprise customers.
• Learn how to build infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Collaborate widely with internal teams.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals.
• Ready to tackle infrastructure challenges when needed.
• Knows modern web client development and testing tools.
• Experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale.
• Comfortable working with data to inform decision-making.
• Demonstrates perseverance.
