Engineer, New World (Tuum) at Bondora

Bondora, a rapidly growing financial technology company, is seeking an Engineer to join their team and build the core banking infrastructure for one of Europe’s premier fintechs as it transforms into a fully licensed bank. This is a greenfield development opportunity, meaning the engineer will be at the forefront of designing and implementing a modern, scalable microservices architecture from scratch.This role involves developing a brand-new banking backend, enhancing Bondora's consumer lending platform, and migrating existing systems to a cutting-edge, future-proof architecture. The engineer will collaborate with a team of talented engineers, product managers, and architects to shape the technical foundation of a next-generation digital bank.What the role involves:

• Working on distributed systems.
• Engaging with messaging architecture.
• Developing microservices.
• Utilizing Azure Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Creating REST APIs.
• Working with monoliths.

Requirements:

• Excels in problem-solving.
• Prior experience in strongly typed languages such as C#, Java, TypeScript, or similar.
• Experience with FE, preferably with React.
• Responsible and willing to take ownership.
• Proactive and forward-looking.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
