Observability Architect (Remote, Netherlands) at Grafana Labs

Grafana Labs is seeking an Observability Architect to redefine post-sales technical partnerships and drive customer success. The Observability Architect will be responsible for managing technical relationships, providing strategic consulting, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of Grafana's products. This role requires a deep understanding of Grafana's technology, the ecosystem around it, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Observability Architect will work closely with Engagement Managers to plot the path to observability maturity and support customers along the way. They will also serve as the primary technical contact for customers, advocating for their needs with the Product Management and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Designing the observability maturity journey of customers and assisting them on that path.
• Providing expert-level troubleshooting and guidance to drive adoption.
• Assisting clients with implementation, configuration, and optimization.
• Conducting regular technical reviews and health checks to ensure client success.
• Assisting in RCA.
• Participating in onboarding and customer activation.
• Advsing clients on best practices and strategies for leveraging Grafana technology.

Requirements include:

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Requires experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
• Requires 5+ years of experience in a technical support, technical account management, consulting, SE or Professional Services role within the technology industry.
• Requires strong understanding of observability solutions.
• Requires proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Requires excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Requires outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
