Senior Observability Architect (Remote, Spain) at Grafana Labs

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Observability Architect to redefine post-sales technical partnerships. This role involves plotting the path to observability maturity for customers and working closely with Engagement Managers. The Observability Architect owns long-term customer adoption, expansion, and overall experience, managing technical relationships and providing strategic consulting. They ensure successful implementation and optimization of Grafana's products, acting as the primary technical contact and voice of the customer.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Designing observability maturity journeys and assisting customers on that path.
• Providing expert-level troubleshooting and guidance to drive adoption.
• Assisting clients with implementation, configuration, and optimization.
• Conducting regular technical reviews and health checks.
• Collaborating with clients to develop and execute technical roadmaps.
• Identifying opportunities for clients to optimize cost and expand solution use.
• Acting as the voice of the customer within the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical support, technical account management, consulting, SE or Professional Services role within the technology industry.
• Strong understanding of observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki a plus).
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
