Senior Solutions Architect (Remote, USA)

Job Description

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join their Customer Experience (CX) team. In this role, the Senior Solutions Architect will provide customers with specialized business and technical consultation and guidance to achieve their objectives using Grafana.

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of customer onboarding and adoption of Grafana offerings and features. The role involves delivering packaged training, quick-starts, session cataloging, project and roadmap assurance, as well as specialized consulting for high-priority customers with complex technical requirements and resource constraints.

The Solutions Architect will also monitor support requests to identify any recurring issues, acting as the voice of Grafana's customers, and work with Grafana's product teams to recommend changes and improvements to their products.

What this role involves:

• Working with customers to understand their business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
• Designing solutions including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture
• Leading functional workshops with customers and documenting requirements.
• Being a strong advocate for adherence to standards and best practices.
• Staying current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams, using project management techniques.
• Direct experience with o11y.
• Experience with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, Jaeger/Tempo).
• Experience with Cloud Platforms - AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Kubernetes experience.
