Job Description

Grafana Labs is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their Customer Experience team. This role involves providing customers with technical consultation and guidance to achieve their objectives using Grafana. The Solutions Architect will manage the lifecycle of customer onboarding and adoption of Grafana offerings and features, delivering training, quick-starts, and specialized consulting.

The Solutions Architect will also monitor support requests to identify recurring issues and work with product teams to recommend improvements, acting as the voice of the customer. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, customer engagement, and project management skills.

The role involves:

  • Working with customers to understand business needs and translating them into technical requirements
  • Designing solutions including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture
  • Leading functional workshops with customers and documenting requirements
  • Advocating for adherence to standards and best practices

Requirements for the role include:

  • 3+ years of experience working on deployment teams, using project management techniques
  • Direct experience with o11y and best practices for deploying an o11y stack
  • Experience with Grafana products (Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, Jaeger/Tempo)
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms - AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Software Engineering experience and or ability to read code (GoLang/JS/TypeScript)
