Grafana Labs is looking for a Staff Developer Advocate to join their team. This role involves advocating for the open-source community, nurturing its members, particularly focusing on OpenTelemetry. The ideal candidate will be an experienced technical communicator passionate about OSS and community engagement. This is a fully remote position based in Spain, working within the R&D department alongside product managers and engineers.
The role involves:
- Creating technical content to educate and empower developers & SREs.
- Acting as an ally and colleague of external practitioners.
- Building relationships across the Grafana & OTel communities.
- Providing feedback on products to improve the feedback loop.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with OpenTelemetry.
- Substantial technical experience in testing, software development, or related fields.
- Effective communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset.
- Technical writing and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
