Grafana Labs is looking for a Staff Developer Advocate to advocate for the open-source community. The ideal candidate will have experience with OpenTelemetry and a passion for teaching and engaging with the community. The role involves creating technical content, building relationships with the Grafana and OTel communities, and providing feedback on Grafana products.
Responsibilities:
- Creating technical content to educate and empower developers & SREs
- Acting as an ally and colleague of external practitioners
- Building relationships within the Grafana & OTel communities
- Providing feedback on Grafana products
Requirements:
- Strong experience with OpenTelemetry
- Substantial technical experience in testing, software development, system integration, SRE, monitoring, observability, or operations
- Effective communicator with patience
- Collaborative mindset
- Technical writing skills
- Presentation skills
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time
