Engineering Manager at Showpad

Showpad is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their Bucharest team, focusing on Cloud Operations, Security Operations, the Internal Developer Platform, and the Data Platform. This role is pivotal in Showpad's expansion into Romania.

The Engineering Manager will report to the Director of Engineering and will be instrumental in optimizing platform security and scalability, streamlining processes, and facilitating efficient workflows for engineering teams.

The role involves:

• Defining the engineering vision in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Establishing "golden paths" for software development.
• Utilizing data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
• Attracting, hiring, and developing top software engineering talent.
• Building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Defining and prioritizing engineering projects.
• Leading the execution of complex technical projects.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and leadership.
• Proven track record of building high-performing engineering teams in a SaaS environment.
• Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience recruiting and managing talent in an international setting.
