Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst (Banking) at Capco

Capco is seeking a Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst to join their expanding team in Malaysia. This role involves working on transformative projects for major banking and insurance clients. The Business Analyst position at Capco entails a variety of responsibilities aimed at driving project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing, facilitating, documenting and participating in client meetings/workshops
• Conducting structured gathering, research and analysis
• Developing and evaluating procedures, controls, user requirements and functional specifications to identify gaps between current state and future state
• Creating business requirement documents (BRD’s) into use cases/functional specifications for customization
• Requirements gathering, functional requirements, user stories and documenting business/data/application/technology architectures, requirement and business rules
• Business process models/design, logical data models, standard and guidance
• Documenting and explaining problems and works to resolve software defects, whilst ensuring technical compatibility and end user satisfaction
• Analyzing, developing and proposing enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications in order to optimize system effectiveness
• Conducting customer interviews and producing meeting summaries
• Participating in development of new business opportunities
• Producing high-quality verbal and written consulting deliverables
• Generating re-usable intellectual capital
• Basic scripting and project plans
• Guiding Junior Business Analyst in the project delivery as a team

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Background in Banking areas (Channels, Managed Solutions, Payments/ISO20022, Customer Journey, Data Management)
• Solid Business Analyst skills
• Experience interviewing client executives
• Strong experience writing successful project proposals
• Experience planning and documenting technology requirements
• Strong presentation skills, executing related projects
• Language requirement: Mandarin and/or Cantonese
