Tester at Capco

Capco is seeking a Test Analyst to join their expanding business in Asia, specifically in Malaysia. The successful candidate will work on engaging projects with some of the largest banking and insurance clients in the world, delivering significant transformation and change. The Test Analyst will be responsible for end-to-end testing, defining test strategies and plans, designing test cases, and preparing testers for UAT. They will need to understand application business areas and requirements, particularly in the banking environment. The role involves managing user acceptance testing (UAT) in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments, as well as test planning, execution, management, defect tracking, and test progress reporting.

• Defining Test Strategy & Test Plan documents
• Designing test cases
• Preparing testers for UAT
• Managing user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Test progress reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
• Understanding of application business area and application requirements, specifically in wealth/cards environment
• Experience in managing user acceptance testing (UAT) in both in an Agile and Waterfall delivery environment
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Unix, UAT Testing, SQL queries, Mantis, Data Migration
• ISTQB Certified tester, Foundation level (CTFL) work towards qualification preferable
• Experience in Banking domain OR (Insurance / Financial Services industry) is highly preferred
• Able to speak and write in Mandarin / Cantonese is highly preferred
