Capco is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to join their Data Analytics and AI team in Milan. The candidate will play a crucial role in defining the strategy for Generative AI, both internally and for clients, and in executing AI transformation agendas.

The Generative AI Engineer will lead the design, build, and engineering of innovative GenAI products, while continually iterating and scaling them based on client needs. They will also create technical standards and blueprints for AI scenarios, educate the organization on Generative AI, and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify critical business problems that could be solved using Generative AI.
  • Define strategy for Generative AI and how to apply it.
  • Lead the design and build innovative GenAI products.
  • Iterate and scale Generative AI products.
  • Create technical standards and blueprint for AI scenarios.
  • Educate the organization on Generative AI.
  • Mentor other engineers.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with large-scale language models.
  • Understanding of language models and transformers, vector stores and search algorithms.
  • Large-scale ETL development and engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design pattern.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Confidence to convey technical advice and guidance to clients.
