Solo.io is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive business growth and market expansion in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for developing collaborative relationships with customers and internal teams, coordinating prospect activities, and establishing a repeatable sales process. They will also be expected to stay current with Solo.io products and related technologies and evangelize them through speaking engagements and content creation.
Role Involves:
- Own business growth and market expansion for geographic region
- Develop collaborative relationships with Customers, Solution Engineering, SDR, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams
- Coordinate and manage prospect activities including POCs, demos, trials, etc.
- Establish and implement a consistent, repeatable process and mentor peers
- Evangelize Solo.io products and related technology
Requirements:
- 5+ years selling to Dev Ops personas
- Expertise in Enterprise Software Sales experience with cloud technologies
- A proven, consistent track record of exceeding quota and plan targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20% if needed
- Experience of selling Open-Source Software preferred
