ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are looking for a Backend System Analyst to join our team and support the development and optimization of our mobile applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with mobile applications, and collaborating with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze business and technical requirements for mobile app backend systems. Design and document backend system architecture, APIs, and integrations. Collaborate with mobile developers to ensure backend services align with app functionality. Identify and troubleshoot backend performance and security issues. Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize backend scalability and reliability. Conduct data analysis and reporting for system performance and user behavior insights. Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and industry best practices. Support API lifecycle management, versioning, and documentation. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and reviews.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years as a System Analyst, Backend Analyst, or similar role in mobile app development. Strong understanding of backend technologies (Node.js, Java, .NET, or similar), API development (REST, GraphQL), and databases (SQL, NoSQL). Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in system security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and performance optimization. Proficiency in API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman) and version control (Git). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Nice to Have

Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Knowledge of mobile app frameworks (Flutter, React Native, etc.). Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
