Software Engineer Team Lead

Job Description

BigID is seeking a talented R&D Team Leader to join their innovative startup in the security and privacy domain. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 5-6 skilled engineers focused on scans and discovery, guiding them to achieve technical excellence and drive impactful projects. BigID provides a cutting-edge data platform that enables organizations to manage internal data effectively.Role involves:

• Designing, building, and delivering inventive, data-driven products to foster business growth
• Writing high-quality code covered by solid unit and integration tests
• Making informed technological and architectural decisions while introducing new technologies and practices
• Reviewing the design and code for other team members

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a team leader and 5 years of hands-on experience in software development
• Proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, and Java
• Experience with React for frontend development, Jenkins for CI/CD, and Kubernetes and Helm for deployment on AWS
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong project management skills
• Demonstrated experience working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams
