Software Team Lead at BigID

BigID is seeking a talented R&D Team Leader to join their innovative startup in the security domain. The company focuses on data security, compliance, privacy, and AI data management, providing a cutting-edge data platform for organizations to manage internal data effectively.

The R&D Team Leader will lead a team of 5-6 skilled engineers focused on scans and discovery, guiding them to achieve technical excellence and drive impactful projects.

What this role involves:

• Design, build, and deliver inventive, data-driven products to foster business growth
• Significant experience with big data and performance-oriented systems
• Ensure production-grade, high-quality code
• Make informed technological and architectural decisions while introducing new technologies and practices
• Review the design and code for other team members

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a team leader and 4 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Experience with Java, Typescript (NodeJS), Kafka, and ElasticSearch.
• A degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong project management skills.
• Demonstrated experience working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
