Interactive Brokers is seeking a Senior DevOps/Software Engineer to join its Enterprise Architecture organization. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in the Greenwich, CT office and two days of remote work. The ideal candidate will ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of systems and applications. interactive brokers is recognized as a leader in the financial services industry. Her or she will:
- Write and review code.
- Develop documentation and capacity plans.
- Conduct proof-of-concept work on new technologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Serve as an escalation contact for service incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or other STEM-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
- 5+ years of coding experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Excellent skills in problem-solving and communication, both verbal and written.
