Bauer Hockey is seeking a Temporary Graphic Designer - Production to join their Team Division. This role supports the customization of team products, managing artwork from submission to embellishment and production, while also providing creative support.

The Temporary Graphic Designer will work closely with representatives and vendors to set up logos for custom products. They will ensure accuracy in size, detail, and color. They will also upload and archive approved files for artwork submissions, as well as review and approve factory production strike-offs.

This position requires collaborative skills to work with printers and factories to troubleshoot production issues, support design implementation, and maintain Bauer brand standards across various mediums. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining BAUER’s Online Team Customizer platform
  • Collaborating with representatives and vendors to set up logos for specific custom products
  • Uploading and archiving approved files for artwork submissions
  • Reviewing and approving factory production strike-offs
  • Working with printers and factories to troubleshoot production issues
  • Supporting design implementation and production for various collateral
  • Ensuring designs and logos comply with company standards
  • Maintaining Bauer brand standards across multiple mediums
  • Managing a large database of images
  • Creating thoughtful designs under tight deadlines while adhering to brand guidelines

Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Design, or related field
  • 3-5 years of graphic design experience
  • 5 years of sport or team design experience
  • Knowledge of product development process
  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills
  • Experience working within brand style-guide
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Word and PowerPoint, Content Management Systems (CMS) plus basic knowledge of html for XML editing
  • Experience with color correction and image database management
