Bauer Hockey is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join their team in Blainville, Quebec. This internship offers valuable work experience and exposure to the company's initiatives and departments. The intern will work with a team of engineers, lab technicians, field test analysts, and development managers, assisting in engineering projects related to hockey and/or lacrosse equipment.
What this role involves:
- Collaborating with the team to test, develop, and validate products and materials.
- Assisting in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Creating and revising CAD documents to meet industry standards and specifications.
- Assisting with developing lab protocols.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program at the university level.
- French & English written/verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with Ansys or other FEA software.
- Proficient with CAD software (Creo, Solidworks or other).
- Knowledge of composite materials, plastics and/or foams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be enrolled as a student at the Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Completing a work-integrated learning component as part of their curriculum.
