Interactive Brokers is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their team in London. This role focuses on developing performant and scalable SPAs for the company's brokerage platforms. The engineer will be working in a Vue-based environment and collaborating with engineers, product managers, and the design team to deliver web applications to over 2 million users.Responsibilities include:
- Designing and building scalable web applications within the Vue.js ecosystem.
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan and organize large-scale projects.
- Contributing to the company-wide Vue UI Component Library.
- Setting direction and partnering with other front-end engineers to implement new technologies.
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience with single-page web app development.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks (React.js/Vue.js/Angular.js).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience integrating APIs.
- Web testing and troubleshooting skills.
