Job Description
Trusted Home Service Partners is seeking a Director of Business Development to source, evaluate, and execute high-quality acquisitions and partnerships. The Director will be a key member of the leadership team, interacting with the company’s executive management team and TDP.He/She will join a collaborative and motivated team in a dynamic environment with substantial opportunity to create value and contribute to the company’s growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire and passion for M&A and business development, working with small business owners, and a goal-oriented attitude.The Director of Business Development role involves:
  • Identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with small business owners.
  • Negotiating deal terms and maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Partnering with senior leadership and TDP to set and execute strategy.
  • Assisting other business development officers.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with contacts, customers, and brokers.
  • Leading due diligence, valuation analysis, and proposal development.
  • Building post-transaction value creation plans.
  • Working with senior management and third-party vendors to close transactions.
Requirements for the Director of Business Development
  • 5-7 years of M&A experience (investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or direct lending).
  • Prior experience communicating directly with small business owners.
  • Prior cold calling experience.
  • Prior experience at a multi-site acquisition driven organization.
  • Team player and self-starter.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office products.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
