Interactive Brokers is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their Web API team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's Web API platform, which provides access to real-time services. They will collaborate with business and internal teams to add new features and interfaces, write documentation and regression tests, and provide 3rd level support.
  • Adding new features and interfaces as required
  • Writing documentation units and regression tests for new interfaces
  • Writing backend services and/or clients that will help expose internal services
  • Providing 3rd Level of support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring, Vert.x
  • Proficiency in using Git version control.
  • Strong command of RESTful web services.
  • Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
