Senior ML Engineer at Truecaller

Truecaller is seeking a Senior ML Engineer to join their Data Science and Analytics Products team in Stockholm, Sweden. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing the training and deployment of ML models to be quick and cost-efficient, with a focus on enhancing data privacy and customer experience by putting ML models on mobile devices.

This role involves collaborating with teams across Truecaller to establish best practices and tools for efficient ML model development and deployment, particularly on mobile platforms. The Senior ML Engineer will stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in ML Engineering, especially ML on mobile phones, and drive continuous innovation throughout Truecaller.

Responsibilities:

• Understand current and future needs of developers and the organization, and create a roadmap.
• Enable teams to put models into production quickly and cost-effectively.
• Optimize ML models for mobile devices.
• Serve as the go-to expert for developing and deploying models on mobile devices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in ML Engineering and drive innovation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
• Experience deploying ML models in production environments.
• Experience optimizing feature engineering, model training, and model deployment.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML models on mobile devices (TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, ONNX Runtime Mobile).
• Understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX).
• Understanding of both Android and iOS development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
