Senior MLOps Engineer at Truecaller

Truecaller is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to spearhead the evolution of its MLOps platform. This role, within the Data Science and Analytics Products team, is pivotal for enabling rapid, scalable, and cost-effective machine learning model development and deployment across the organization.

The Senior MLOps Engineer will collaborate with developers to ensure the platform meets their needs, setting best practices and driving innovation within Truecaller.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and building the infrastructure needed to enable Truecaller teams.
• Understanding the current and future needs of developers and the organization.
• Collaborating and support developers to make model training, development, and monitoring fast, scalable, and cost-efficient.
• Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in MLOps, AI, and cloud computing.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining tools and platforms for feature engineering, model training, model deployment, model monitoring, and A/B testing model performance.
• Strong programming skills in Python and shell scripting.
• A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (for example, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX).
• Strong experience in cloud platforms (we use GCP) and cloud-native tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A customer-focused mindset.
