Truecaller is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join its New Initiatives team in Stockholm, Sweden. Truecaller's goal is to make communication smarter, safer and efficient, being number one caller ID and spam-blocking service for Android and iOS with more than 400 million active users per month. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications across mobile, web, and backend services. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of scalable mobile, web, and backend solutions.
  • Build mobile applications for Android using Kotlin/Java and Flutter.
  • Develop backend services using Scala to power key features.
  • Implement user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new features.
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce best coding practices.
  • Participate in architectural discussions.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in Android development using Kotlin/Java and Flutter.
  • Proficiency in backend development with Scala.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with databases such as Redis, Postgres, and/or Cassandra.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
