Interactive Brokers is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their Web API team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's Web API platform, which provides access to critical real-time services. The role involves collaborating with business and internal teams to add new features and interfaces, writing documentation and regression tests, and providing third-level support.Responsibilities:
- Work with business and internal teams to add new features and interfaces.
- Write documentation units and regression tests for new interfaces.
- Write backend services and/or clients to expose internal services.
- Provide 3rd Level of support.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring, Vert.x
- Proficiency in using Git version control.
- Strong command of RESTful web services.
- Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software development principles.
- Experience with WebSockets and real-time communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
