Zscaler is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join their Japan Sales Engineering team. The Sales Engineer will report to the Manager, Sales Engineering in Japan.This role involves:
- Providing technical expertise and advice to enterprise customers.
- Taking total ownership of the technical sale and processes.
- Independently delivering sales pitches, technical and whiteboard presentations.
Zscaler requires candidates to have:
- BSCS or equivalent with extensive experience as an SE or systems integrator.
- More than 7 years of experience in Pre-Sales roles, with at least 3 years of experience in selling security / networking solutions in direct sales or high-touch sales environments.
- Knowledge of HTTP and web related technologies.
Ideally, candidates should also have:
- Experience working with routing and switching products, including troubleshooting.
- Understanding of SaaS based technologies and network security technologies.
- Hands-on experience with systems installation, configuration, and administration of macOS, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems.
